Hello Ladies, it's great to be back on my blogging routine. The weather was fab on Saturday, but it got a bit chilly later on... My weekend was about spending time with my husband (wink wink). It's important to create time for your spouse after a week of running around with the kids, cooking, shopping, the list goes on and on but we tender to forget who we fell in love with in the first place.
Deciding what to wear was exciting and challenging at the same time. I had my ethnic jacket in mind but "how will I style it?". So I came across a picture of the same jacket and how it was styled and VOILA the birth of my outfit of the day. When I saw this picture, I was like a kid in a candy store and I just could not wait to get dressed but " how will a curvy girl like me pull off this same outfit?" and my answer was simple, a camisole and a tube skirt to accentuate my "super hips". I love this outfit, it was how I wanted to look on the day, simple, elegant and comfy.
Ethnic Jacket: Zara (Past season)
Black Tube Skirt: Custom made by me
Camisole: Primark
Shoes: Zara (Past season)
Bag: ALDO
Who wore it better Slim or Curvy?

U nailed it hun....:) Dressing up is my worst time of d day.....totally depressing as I feel 'fat' n can't we to match anything. Lucky u don't really have a 'pouch' tummy unlike me who'd never risk tucking a Cami into a skirt.
ReplyDeleteDressing up used to be a nightmare for me as well but I learnt how to dress for my body shape... There loads of different outfits out there that will look beautiful on you. Wake up each morning with ur head held high and be happy with your body,,, http://supercurvyme.blogspot.co.uk/2013/09/size-wise-know-your-body-shape.html
